Multi-story condos are being built on the banks of the River Lee beside the mall.
Quite a large mall consisting of some shops not found in malls in Canada, including Boots, a drug store, and Tiger, a Swedish store that sells all sorts of objects like household goods, writing/coloring materials, at very reasonable prices. Bought a few florescent coloring pencils. At the food court, I had a fabulous chicken gyro at the ....
Walked across the bridge to Olympic park, on the site of the 2012 Olympics.

Water park, sand box, playgrounds with children and their parents; did a few exercises on 3 exercise machines. Walked along River Lee.
Back at Westfield mall went to Balan restaurant, and had Estrella Galicia, a pale lager from Spain, had a hint of lemongrass flavour. Tube home, ordered in Indian food from The Junakee in Barking, www.thejunakeetandoori.com, meal for two, UK12.00 ($25.00) consisting of chicken madras, chicken korma - coconut, bombay potatoes, vegetable curry, rice, naan and an onion salad. Very tasty. The restaurant is typical in Barking, a very small take-out, with 4-6 tables. Most people order take out.
